Meet Dr. Johnson
Dentistry is an exciting profession because of the daily interactions I have with our patients, the constant improvements in technology, and the ability to make a positive difference in people's lives. From helping people alleviate oral pain to assisting people in achieving a beautiful smile, there are daily, constant ways in which we are able to serve others. It is a blessing and a calling that I am thankful for!
I feel fortunate that the work I do helps people improve their quality of life, and allows us to develop long term, friendly relationships with people. Most of all, I enjoy being able to help people improve their dental health.

Family and Community
My wife Shannon and I have three children, Saylor Grace, Jake, and Mimi. My wife has passed down her artistic talents to our kids so you may occasionally see some of their artwork in the office. Of course, I can’t forget the two most energetic members of the family—our two boxers Ruby and Hattie!
As a family, we love the water, especially surfing, fishing, and boating. Two of our kids are avid lacrosse players, so we do spend quite a few weekends on a lacrosse field.
As a dentist, I believe it is extremely important to give back to the local community who supports us so well. I am an elder in my church, and my wife and I host a weekly Bible study. I have been a Scouting volunteer for many years, an assistant lacrosse coach, and have volunteered on the Board of Directors for Camp Albemarle since 2013. I am a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International and have been fortunate to participate in several mission trips to Central America.
